I’m a Korean-American going through that awkward foodie-toddler stage where I have just enough knowledge to hurt myself with a dough hook but not quite enough knowledge to stop the bleeding with kitchen twine. I explore cooking and baking while eating mostly healthy food and the
rare frequent naughty treat. High blood pressure and my father’s stroke motivated me to lose 85 pounds through nutritious eating and exercise.
Does a healthy eater write about rice cakes and celery sticks? No way. This is not a diet blog. Life is nothing without cheesecake. If I’m fatally injured while eating New York cheesecake, my final dying words will be, “One . . . more . . . bite . . . oh just hand me the whole thing, I’m dying here.”
So come on in. Pull up a comfy chair, ignore the sarcasm stains on the floor, and don’t mind my pet Irony (she bites). Bon appegeek!
